glad my family is basically past the wedding stage (though one of my nieces was supposed to get married last year--they called it off)....half of my nephews/nieces dont even have significant others---and the oldest is 29!
and my husbands nieces are 5 and 3--twill be sometime before we see a wedding there, me'thinks.

We are under a tornado watch until 10 pm tonight. We have had a fairly decent today considering it was supposed to rain most of the and it didn't. Hope all went well with the ceremony, pwnd.

Ummm okay Hans, don't get it so w/e.

Ya everything went well. Reception was fun, until we got a tornado warning. So my gf and I had just got home, took pictures and then my mom got a call. It was my brother telling us to take shelter because a tornado was in the area. So my gf and mom grabbed my 3 year old nephew and I ran upstairs to grab my 1 year old nephew. We rushed them to the basement. Apparently a tornado touched down in Metamora along 24, about 2 miles from the reception. I then got a call saying to put the garage door up because they were coming here. By they I assumed my brother, dad, sister and brother-in-law. But no, it meant my dad, brother, aunts, uncles and cousins! So we moved the reception to my house basically lol Good times. But everything is okay and everyone is okay. Plus the ceremony and stuff went well.

It wasn't the rain that was bad so much as the tornadoes touching down all around us. My sisters town got hit I think with a tornado, but I haven't confirmed it yet since I just got up and am waiting to take my gf to the airport. But it was a great day, though we could have done with out the tornadoes.

I hate tornadoes ......I remember watching the one that hit Lemont when I was a kid living in the south burbs of the windy city....that was enough to scare the bejevers out of me for life.
was nice while I was in japan as they rarely have tornadoes----though typhoons are another story----(my 2nd year there was a bumper year for them, had like 15 of them before august when the season really gets started....6 of which went thru areas I was in at the time! even had one go thru Sapporo when I visited there and they rarely get them that far north!) though most of the typhoons werent even as bad as a really bad t-storm in the midwest!

doesnt change the fact they still give me bad dreams

We don't usually get tornadoes as close to me as we did this time. Kind of new for us since we usually don't have them that close. But there were 3 within 20-30 minutes of us. We will always remember this night now lol

Never had them before ET.
